Getting There

    Start your journey at the Avignon central train station (Gare d'Avignon Centre). From the station, head south towards Rue de la République. Continue on Rue de la République until you reach Place de l'Horloge, a central square in Avignon. From here, take Rue de la République to Rue des Lices, and then continue straight onto Rue de la Liberté. Follow this road until you reach the Pont Saint-Bénézet (the famous Avignon bridge). Cross the bridge and enjoy the view of the Rhône River. Once you reach the other side, turn left towards the road leading to Villeneuve-lès-Avignon. Continue walking along the riverbank, and after about 1 km, you will reach the entrance to Fort Saint-André, located on Rue Mnt du Fort.
