Walking
From the Nîmes train station (Gare TGV), the Musée de la Romanité is approximately a 5-10 minute walk. Exit the station and walk straight ahead on Boulevard Sergent Triaire. Cross the roundabout, continuing straight. You'll see the Arènes de Nîmes on your left; the Musée de la Romanité is directly opposite the arena. The entrance is easily visible from the boulevard.
Public Transport
The Trambus lines 1 and 2 stop directly at the Musée de la Romanité (Musée Romanité stop). Tram tickets can be purchased at vending machines at the tram stop. A single ticket (Ticket un voyage) costs approximately €1.60. Alternatively, lines 1, 2, and 4 stop at Arènes; from there, it's a very short walk across the street to the museum.
Taxi/Ride-Share
A taxi or ride-share from the Nîmes train station to the Musée de la Romanité will take about 5 minutes, depending on traffic. The estimated fare is between €8 and €12. Taxis are usually available outside the train station.
Driving
If driving, take the A9 or A54 motorway and exit at 'Nîmes Centre', following signs for 'centre-ville' and 'Arènes'. Limited paid parking is available at Parking Arènes, located close to the Arena and the museum. Expect to pay around €2.40 per hour, with daily rates around €16-€20. Consider using the Park & Ride (Parking Relais) at A54 Caissargues, then take the Trambus (line 1 or 2) to the Musée de la Romanité stop; this is often a more convenient and cost-effective option.
