Walking
From the Palais des Papes, walk towards the northern side of the palace. Follow the signs for Rocher des Doms. You can access the park via the stairs near the Avignon Cathedral (Notre-Dame-des-Doms) or take the accessible ramps from Place du Palais. The walk is a gentle uphill stroll of approximately 5-10 minutes. Note that during the restoration, access may be limited to the northern stairs near Boulevard de la Ligne.
Public Transport
Several bus lines stop near the Palais des Papes, including lines 08, 23, BAL, CZI, and CZR. From the bus stop (e.g., Porte De L'Oulle or Aubanel), walk towards the Palais des Papes and follow the walking directions above to reach the Rocher des Doms. A single bus fare is approximately €1.50.
Tourist Train
The Avignon Tourist Train departs from Place du Palais, directly in front of the Palais des Papes. The train stops at the entrance of Rocher des Doms.
