Jean-Pierre de Madon de Châteauneuf founded the Maison du Bon Pasteur in 1702. The interior boasts Louis XV-era decor, including intricate woodwork, overmantel paintings, and decorative panels. The courtyard features a calade (a type of paving) created by Henri Barrelet, adorned with comets, possibly commemorating the passage of Halley's Comet in 1759.The Hôtel Madon de Châteaublanc has been recognized as a historical monument, with parts of the building being listed in 1932 and classified in 1983.
