Walking

La Chapelle du Miracle is located at 13 Rue Velouterie within Avignon's city walls, making it easily accessible on foot from most points in the historic center. From the Palais des Papes, walk south along Place du Palais, then turn left onto Rue de la Balance. Continue onto Rue de la Petite Fusterie, then turn right onto Rue de la Velouterie. The chapel will be on your left. This walk is approximately 5-7 minutes. No costs are associated with walking.

Public Transport

If arriving at Avignon Centre train station, La Chapelle du Miracle is approximately a 5-minute walk. Exit the station and walk straight ahead onto Cours Jean Jaurès, then turn right onto Rue de la République. Turn left onto Rue de la Petite Fusterie, then turn right onto Rue de la Velouterie. The chapel will be on your left. Alternatively, take the Orizo bus or tram from the station to a stop near Place Pie or Place des Corps Saints, then walk a few minutes to the chapel. A single ticket on the Orizo network costs €1.40.

Taxis are readily available at Avignon Centre train station and other central locations. A taxi ride from the train station to La Chapelle du Miracle will take approximately 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic. The estimated fare is between €7 and €15. Tipping is welcome but not expected.
