The most convenient way to reach Epesses is by train. From Lausanne, take the RER Vaud R4 train towards Bex or St-Maurice. The journey to Epesses takes approximately 11 minutes. From Montreux, take a train towards Lausanne and change at Vevey for the RER Vaud R4 towards Bex. Upon arrival at Epesses train station, the village center is a short, uphill walk (approximately 5-10 minutes). A Mobilis zone 19 ticket is required for travel to Epesses. A single ticket from Lausanne costs approximately CHF 4.00. Consider purchasing a day pass if you plan to explore other villages in the Lavaux region. The train station has limited parking (10 spaces), so arriving by train is highly recommended.
