Getting There

  • Public Transport

    From Bordeaux city center, head to the Bordeaux Saint-Jean train station (Gare Saint-Jean). You can take Tram Line C towards 'Parc des Expositions', which will take you to Saint-Jean station. Once at the station, purchase a ticket for the train to 'Ambès'. Trains run regularly, but check the schedule for the exact times. The journey to Ambès takes approximately 30 minutes. Upon arriving at Ambès station, you'll need to walk to Château Sainte-Barbe. Exit the station and head northeast on Rue de la Gare. After about 500 meters, turn right onto Route de la Vigne. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach Lieu-dit Sainte-Barbe. The château will be on your left.

    From Bordeaux city center, take the Bus Line 10 from 'Place des Quinconces' towards 'Ambès'. The bus ride takes around 45 minutes. Get off at the 'Ambès - Sainte-Barbe' stop. From there, walk along Route de la Vigne for about 600 meters until you reach Château Sainte-Barbe, which will be on your right.
