If arriving by car, navigate towards Tanlay via the D905. Once in Tanlay, follow signs for 'Château de Tanlay'. Parking is available along the tree line on the D118 and in the car park in front of the Pharmacy, a short walk from the entrance. Be aware of warnings regarding falling branches when parking under the trees. Parking is free.

Public Transport
For those arriving by train, the closest station is Tonnerre. From Tonnerre station, you can take the Mobigo taxi service directly to Château de Tanlay. This requires booking at least two days in advance by calling +33 3 80 11 29 29 before 6 PM. The taxi fare is approximately €3.50. Alternatively, you can take a regional bus (line 9) from Montbard to Tanlay, and then walk towards 2 Gd Rue Basse; the château is a short walk from the bus stop. Bus schedules should be checked in advance.
