Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving in Burgundy, take the A6 motorway towards Beaune. Exit at Beaune Nord (exit 24.1) and follow signs for Beaune Centre. Once in the city, continue straight onto Rue de la République and then turn left onto Rue d'Alsace. After a short drive, take a right onto Place du Général Leclerc where the Basilica of Our Lady is located. Parking is available nearby at the Place de la Halle, but be aware that there may be charges for parking.

• Train

  For those traveling by train, take a regional train (TER) to Beaune from major cities like Dijon or Lyon. Once you arrive at Beaune train station, you can either walk to the Basilica of Our Lady, which is approximately 1.5 km away (about a 20-minute walk), or take a taxi from the station. If walking, exit the station and head southeast on Rue de la Liberté, continuing onto Rue du Faubourg Saint-Jacques. Follow the signs to the city center until you reach Place du Général Leclerc.

• Bus

  If you prefer traveling by bus, you can use the local bus service from surrounding towns to Beaune. Check the local schedules for the nearest bus stop and routes that lead to Beaune. Once in Beaune, disembark at the main bus station (Gare Routière). From there, it's about a 10-minute walk to the Basilica of Our Lady. Head southeast on Rue de la République, then turn left onto Rue d'Alsace, leading you directly to Place du Général Leclerc.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  For a more convenient option, you can always opt for a taxi or rideshare service like Uber if available in your area. Simply provide the driver with the address: Place du Général Leclerc, 21200 Beaune. This option is particularly recommended if you're traveling with luggage or prefer not to walk.
