Getting There

  • Bus

    From central Caen, head to the Caen bus station (Gare routière de Caen) which is located near the Caen train station. You can take buses that head towards Bayeux. Look for line 70, which runs frequently. Make sure to check the bus schedule for departure times. The ride to Bayeux takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Bayeux bus station, it's a short 10-minute walk to Pl. du Québec. Exit the bus station, turn left onto Rue de la Gare, and continue straight until you reach Avenue de la Libération. Turn right, and you will see Pl. du Québec ahead on your left.

  • Train

    From Caen train station (Gare de Caen), purchase a ticket to Bayeux. Trains run regularly, and the journey takes about 15 to 20 minutes. Upon arriving at Bayeux train station, exit the station and turn left onto Avenue Claude Debussy. Walk straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the junction with Rue de la Liberté. Turn right onto Rue de la Liberté, and continue straight until you reach Pl. du Québec, which will be on your right.

  • Walking

    If you are already in Bayeux and would like to walk to Pl. du Québec, start from the Bayeux Cathedral (Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Bayeux). Head south on Rue de Nesmond, turn left onto Rue de la Liberté, and continue walking straight. Follow the road as it curves; you will eventually reach Pl. du Québec, where the Bayeux Shuttle office is located. The walk should take approximately 15 minutes.
