    From Caen city center, walk to the Caen bus station (Gare Routière) located at 9 Place de la Gare. Take bus line 61 towards 'Courseulles-sur-Mer'. The bus ride will take approximately 30-35 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Juno Beach' (the stop is clearly marked). From the bus stop, it's a short walk to the beach area.

    Start at Caen train station (Gare SNCF Caen). Take a train to 'Courseulles-sur-Mer' (check the schedule for train times). Once you arrive at Courseulles-sur-Mer train station, find the bus stop nearby and take bus line 61 towards 'Juno Beach'. It will take about 10 minutes to reach the beach from the bus stop.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bike in Caen. Head towards the east on Rue de la Gare, following the signs for the coastal bike path. The ride is approximately 12 kilometers and should take around 40-50 minutes. Follow the bike path signs towards Courseulles-sur-Mer, and you will arrive at Juno Beach.

    Walking from Caen to Juno Beach is quite a long trek, approximately 12 kilometers. If you are feeling adventurous and have the time, head east out of Caen on Avenue de la Libération, continuing on D514 towards Courseulles-sur-Mer. This will take around 3 hours. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
