From the center of Caen, head to the Caen Bus Station (Gare routière de Caen). Take Bus Line 70 towards 'Ranville - Mairie'. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Ranville - Mairie' stop. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk. Head southeast on Rue de la Mairie towards Rue des Écoles, turn left onto Rue des Écoles, and continue straight until you reach the museum grounds at 14860 Ranville.
Train
Make your way to the Caen Train Station (Gare de Caen). Take a regional train towards 'Lisieux' and get off at the 'Carpiquet' station. This journey takes around 20 minutes. Once you arrive, exit the station and walk to the bus stop nearby. Catch Bus Line 70 towards 'Ranville - Mairie' and get off at the 'Ranville - Mairie' stop. From there, it’s a short 10-minute walk to the museum grounds at 14860 Ranville by heading southeast on Rue de la Mairie.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the bike-sharing services in Caen. Start from the city center and head east on Rue de Falaise. Follow the signs towards Ranville. The ride is approximately 8 kilometers and should take about 30-40 minutes, depending on your pace. Once you arrive in Ranville, navigate to the museum grounds at 14860 Ranville, which will be easily accessible from the main road.
Walking
If you're feeling adventurous and want to walk, you can start from the center of Caen. Head east on Rue Saint-Jean, continue straight until you reach Rue de Falaise, and follow it towards Ranville. The walk is about 8 kilometers and will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you reach Ranville, look for signs directing you to the museum grounds at 14860 Ranville.
