Walking
From the Cannes train station (Gare de Cannes), walk south along Rue Jean Jaurès. Turn left onto Boulevard de la République and continue straight. After crossing Quai St-Pierre, turn right onto Rue du Suquet. The walk is approximately 10-15 minutes and uphill. Alternatively, from the port area, walk west towards the old town, Le Suquet. Rue du Suquet begins near the Marché Forville. Note that the street is pedestrianized and involves a moderately steep uphill walk.
Public Transport
The City Palm shuttle bus provides a free service to Le Suquet from the Town Hall. The bus departs every 25 minutes all day. First departure from the Town Hall: 9am. Last departure from the Town Hall: 7pm. Alternatively, local Palm Bus routes have stops near Le Suquet. A single ticket costs €1.70 and can be purchased from the driver.
Taxi/Ride-Share
Taxis and ride-sharing services are readily available in Cannes. A short taxi ride from the train station or the Croisette to the base of Le Suquet (near Marché Forville) will cost approximately €10-€15, depending on traffic. Be aware that taxis cannot drive directly up Rue du Suquet due to it being a pedestrian zone; you will still need to walk the final section uphill.
Driving
Driving directly to Rue du Suquet is not possible due to its pedestrianized nature. The closest parking options are Parking Suquet-Forville (Place Bernard Cornut-Gentille) and other nearby car parks. Parking fees typically range from €2.50 to €4 per hour, with daily rates around €20-€30. From the car park, it's a short walk to Rue du Suquet.
