Driving
If arriving by car from Blois (approx. 30 km), take the N152 to Mer, then the D15 to Talcy. From Orléans (approx. 45 km), take the A10, exit 16 Mer/Chambord, then the D15 to Talcy. Parking is available on site. Expect a short walk from the parking area to the château entrance.
Public Transport
The closest train station is in Mer, approximately 9 km from the château. From Mer station, you can take a taxi to Château de Talcy. A taxi ride will cost approximately €20-€30. Alternatively, from Blois, take the Line 11 bus towards Mer and get off at the 'Château' stop in Talcy. The bus journey takes approximately 48 minutes and costs €3.
