Public Transport
From the Courmayeur bus station (Piazzale Monte Bianco), take the local bus operated by Arriva towards Entrèves. The bus runs regularly and the journey to the Val Veny cable car station takes approximately 10-15 minutes. A single ticket costs around €1-2 and can be purchased on board, but buying via the MyPay APP is recommended to avoid surcharges. The cable car station is located a short walk from the Entrèves bus stop.
Taxi/Ride-Share
Taxis are available in Courmayeur, particularly near the bus station and main squares. A taxi ride from the center of Courmayeur to the Val Veny cable car station in Entrèves will cost approximately €15-€20, depending on traffic and time of day. Ride-sharing services are less common in this area, so taxis are the more reliable option.
Driving
From Courmayeur, follow the SS26dir road towards Entrèves. The Val Veny cable car station is well-signposted. Parking is available near the cable car station. Parking Piazzale Monte Bianco P1: the first hour of free parking – hourly rate from 1,50 € to 3,00 € – max € 15,00 for 24 hours. Parking Viale Monte Bianco P2: first 30 min free parking – hourly rate from 1,00 € to 2,00 € – max 20,00 € for 24 hours.
Cable Car
Once you arrive at the Val Veny cable car station, purchase a ticket for the cable car ascent. A round trip ticket costs €10 for adults and €6 for children. The cable car operates from 9:30 to 17:50. The ride to Pré de Pascal takes approximately 15 minutes, offering stunning views of the Mont Blanc massif.
