To reach destinations within Courmayeur, such as the Dolonne gondola or Entrèves, a single trip costs €1.10. For exploring Val Ferret, the Green Line bus is available at a cost of €2.20. A day ticket, purchasable on the #vdatransport app, offers unlimited travel on all Courmayeur Mont Blanc lines for €3.70. Keep in mind that purchasing tickets onboard the shuttles incurs a surcharge of €4.00.
Walking
Courmayeur's center is easily navigable on foot. From Piazzale Monte Bianco, the heart of Courmayeur, the pedestrianized Via Roma is a short stroll away, offering access to shops, restaurants, and cafes. Most attractions within the town center are within a 10-15 minute walk. To reach the Courmayeur cable car, follow the signs from Via Roma; it's approximately a 5-minute walk. Note that some streets are cobblestone, so wear comfortable shoes.
Driving
If arriving by car, be aware that the historic center of Courmayeur is a ZTL (limited traffic zone) controlled by automatic cameras. Several parking options are available nearby. Piazzale Monte Bianco (P1) offers the first hour free, then hourly rates from €1.50 to €3.00, with a maximum of €15.00 for 24 hours. Viale Monte Bianco (P2) provides the first 30 minutes free, then hourly rates from €1.00 to €2.00, with a maximum of €20.00 for 24 hours. Tzan de Blà (P3) in Dolonne charges €1.00 per hour, with a maximum of €8.00 for 24 hours. Blue zone street parking is also available at €1.00 per hour. Skyway Monte Bianco Cable Car
To reach the Skyway Monte Bianco cable car from Courmayeur, local buses connect to Pontal d'Entrèves, where the cable car station is located. Alternatively, a taxi from Courmayeur to the Skyway station costs approximately €20-€30. Parking is available at the Skyway station, with the first half-hour free. Round-trip tickets from Courmayeur to Punta Helbronner cost €58.00 when purchased online or €63.00 at the till. Round-trip tickets from Courmayeur to Pavillon du Mont Fréty cost €24.00 online or €26.00 at the till. Special family rates and discounts are available.
