    From Freiburg Hauptbahnhof (main train station), Rathausplatz is approximately a 10-15 minute walk. Exit the station and head straight along Eisenbahnstraße into the city center. Continue onto Kaiser-Joseph-Straße, the main pedestrian street. Rathausplatz will be on your left, just past the Bertoldsbrunnen.

    From Freiburg Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take tram line 1 or 3 towards 'Littenweiler' or 'Zähringen'. Get off at the 'Rathaus' stop (approximately a 5-minute ride). After exiting the tram, walk straight ahead for about 100 meters, and you will arrive at Rathausplatz. A single ticket is €2.50.
