From Dijon Ville train station, take a train towards Montbard. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Montbard station, transfer to a local bus (Line 27) to Châteauneuf-en-Auxois. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the 'Château de Châteauneuf' stop, which is a short walk to the castle.

From Dijon city center, locate the bus stop at Place Darcy. Take bus number 5 towards Chevigny-Saint-Sauveur. After about 40 minutes, get off at the 'Châteauneuf' stop. Once you disembark, follow the signs to the Château de Châteauneuf which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.

Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local bike rental stations in Dijon. Head northeast on Rue de la Liberté towards Rue de la Préfecture, then follow the bike path to Route de Dijon towards Châteauneuf-en-Auxois. The ride will take around 1.5 hours, and once you arrive, park your bike at the designated bike racks near the Château.

If you are feeling adventurous, you can walk to Châteauneuf-en-Auxois from Dijon. Start at the Dijon city center and head northwest towards Rue des Godrans. Continue on Rue de la Liberté and follow the signs towards Châteauneuf-en-Auxois. This trek is approximately 18 km and would take around 4-5 hours, so plan accordingly and wear comfortable shoes.
