Bus
From Dijon, head to the Dijon City Center and find the tram stop at 'Gare SNCF'. Take tram line T1 towards 'Dijon - Gare' and get off at 'Gare Routière'. From there, switch to bus line 10 that goes to 'Vougeot'. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Vougeot - Clos de Vougeot'. From the bus stop, walk along 'Rue de la Montagne' for about 5 minutes and you will reach the Clos de Vougeot Castle.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the bike rental stations in Dijon. Start from the city center and take the 'Route de Dijon' heading towards Vougeot. Follow the signs towards 'Vougeot' and enjoy the scenic ride through the vineyards. The cycling distance is approximately 14 kilometers and will take about 45 minutes to an hour. Upon reaching Vougeot, follow 'Rue de la Montagne' to find Clos de Vougeot Castle.
Walking
For an adventurous experience, you can walk to Clos de Vougeot Castle. Start from the Dijon Cathedral, head northwest on 'Rue de la Liberté' towards 'Place de la République'. Continue walking straight until you reach 'Rue des Godrans'. Follow this road until you get to the edge of the city, where you will find paths leading toward the vineyards. The walk is approximately 14 kilometers and will take around 3 to 4 hours. Make sure to follow the signs towards Vougeot and eventually reach 'Rue de la Montagne'.
