  If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Sarlat-la-Canéda. Head east on D704 towards Saint-Crépin-et-Carlucet. Continue on D704 for approximately 12 kilometers. When you reach the roundabout, take the second exit onto D46. Follow D46 for about 3 kilometers until you see signs for Chateau de Lacypierre. Turn left onto the road that leads directly to the castle entrance. Parking is available on-site. Be aware that the roads can be narrow and winding, so drive carefully.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Castle Lacypierre via public transportation, first take a train from major cities like Bordeaux or Brive-la-Gaillarde to Sarlat-la-Canéda. From Sarlat, you can catch a regional bus (number 31) that runs to Saint-Crépin-et-Carlucet. The bus fare is approximately €2.50. Once you arrive at the stop in Saint-Crépin-et-Carlucet, it is about a 20-minute walk (1.5 kilometers) to the castle. Follow the signs towards the Chateau de Lacypierre.
