    If you're traveling by car, start your journey from the nearest city, Besançon. Take the D67 road heading southeast, then merge onto the A36 highway towards Dole. After approximately 30 km, take exit 4 towards Châtelneuf. Continue on the D67 road until you reach the village of Châtelneuf. Once in Châtelneuf, follow the signs to Belvédère du Rocher de la Baume, which is located at MWCH+RC, 39300 Châtelneuf. There is limited parking available near the viewpoint.

  • Public Transportation

    For those using public transportation, your journey will begin at the Besançon train station. Take a train to the town of Dole, which is approximately a 30-minute ride. From Dole, you can catch a regional bus (line 33) that heads towards Châtelneuf. The bus ride will take about 45 minutes. Disembark at the Châtelneuf stop. From there, it is a short 15-minute walk to Belvédère du Rocher de la Baume. As of my last knowledge update, the bus fare is around €3.50, and train tickets vary based on the time and availability.
