Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Chamonix-Mont-Blanc. Head east on the D1506 road, following signs for Les Houches. After approximately 5 km, turn left onto the D213 towards Le Tour. Continue for about 10 km until you reach the parking area at the top of the Col des Montets. There are parking fees of around €5-€10 per day. From the parking area, follow the well-marked hiking trail towards Lac Blanc, which will take about 1.5 to 2 hours on foot.

To reach Lac Blanc using public transport, take the local bus from Chamonix to Argentière. The bus service is frequent, and a ticket costs around €2-€3.
