If you are traveling by car, start from Chamonix-Mont-Blanc. Take the N205 road towards Bonneville. After approximately 24 kilometers, take the exit for the N212 towards Les Contamines-Montjoie. Continue on the N212 for about 12 kilometers until you reach the village of Les Contamines-Montjoie. Once there, follow the signs to Notre Dame de la Gorge. Park in the designated parking area near the church, which is a popular starting point for hikes to the waterfalls. Note that parking may incur a fee, typically around €5 for the day.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a train from Geneva to St. Gervais-les-Bains. From St. Gervais, you can catch a bus (line 10) towards Les Contamines-Montjoie. The bus journey takes about 30 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Les Contamines-Montjoie - Centre' and follow the directional signs to Notre Dame de la Gorge. The bus fare is approximately €2-€4 one way. The hike to the waterfalls begins a short walk from the village center.

Once you've arrived at the parking area or bus stop in Les Contamines-Montjoie, you can start your hike to the Waterfalls of Notre Dame de la Gorge. Follow the marked trails that lead to the waterfalls. The hike is about 2.5 kilometers one way and takes approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on your pace. Be sure to wear comfortable hiking shoes and carry water, as the trail can be steep and rocky in places.
