If you are driving from Chamonix, take Route Blanche (N205) southbound. After approximately 6 km, turn left onto D1506 towards Les Houches. Continue for about 3 km and then turn right onto the road leading to the 'Torrent du Dard'. There should be signs indicating the direction to the waterfall. Park in the designated parking area (free of charge) and follow the marked trail for about 30 minutes to reach The Dard Waterfall.
Public Transportation
From Chamonix, take the local bus (Line 1) towards Les Houches. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Les Houches - Le Prarion' stop. From there, follow the signs for the 'Torrent du Dard'. The trailhead is a short walk from the bus stop, and the hike to the waterfall takes roughly 30 minutes. Be aware that the bus might not run frequently, so check the local schedule in advance.
