Bus

From Grenoble, head to the Grenoble Bus Station (Gare Routière) located near the main train station (Gare de Grenoble). You can take Line 6010, which goes directly to Chambéry. The bus ride takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Chambéry bus station, exit the bus and head towards the city center. Follow the signs for 'Centre Ville' (City Center) and walk straight until you reach Place du Château, where the Château de Chambéry is located.
Train

Start at the Grenoble train station (Gare de Grenoble). Purchase a ticket to Chambéry. Trains run frequently, and the journey takes about 30 to 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Chambéry train station, exit the station and head towards the city center. You can either walk (about 15 minutes) or take a local bus to get to Place du Château. If walking, head straight down Avenue de la Gare, and then follow the signs towards Place du Château.
