Metro

To reach the Seine River, start by finding the nearest metro station. If you are near the center of Paris, head to the Châtelet-Les Halles station. From there, take Metro Line 1 (the yellow line) towards La Défense. Get off at the Palais Royal - Musée du Louvre stop. Once you exit the station, walk towards the Louvre Museum. Follow the signs to the river, which is approximately a 10-minute walk. You’ll see the Seine River just beyond the museum.

Bus

If you prefer to take the bus, find the nearest bus stop and take Bus Line 72 or 69. Both lines run along the Seine and will give you a scenic view of the river. If you take Bus Line 72, get off at the 'Pont de l'Alma' stop, which is directly next to the Seine. If you take Bus Line 69, get off at 'Quai de la Tournelle' for a lovely riverside view.

Walking

If you are already in the vicinity of attractions such as the Notre-Dame Cathedral or the Louvre, simply walk towards the river. From Notre-Dame, head south across the Île de la Cité and walk along the riverbank, which is just a 5-minute stroll. From the Louvre, walk east towards the river, and you’ll reach the Seine in about 10 minutes.

Bicycle

For a more leisurely approach, consider renting a bicycle. Use the Vélib' bike-sharing system available throughout Paris. Locate a nearby Vélib' station, rent a bike, and head towards the Seine. You can ride along the riverbanks, enjoying the views and stopping at various points of interest along the way. Popular spots to start your ride are near the Tuileries Garden or the Musée d'Orsay.
