Driving
From Duilhac-sous-Peyrepertuse village, follow the D14 towards the 'Château de Peyrepertuse'. The road winds uphill for approximately 2.5 km. Continue past the village, following signs for the château. Parking is available near the site. Note that the road is narrow and winding. Parking is free. For larger vehicles (over 7m), a specific parking area is available midway between the village and the castle. From the parking area, it's a 15-20 minute walk to the castle entrance.
Walking
From Duilhac-sous-Peyrepertuse, several trails lead to Château de Peyrepertuse. Follow the marked paths, keeping in mind that the ascent is steep and rocky in sections. The walk from the village to the ticket office takes approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour. From the ticket office to the castle entrance, allow another 15-20 minutes. Ensure you have appropriate footwear. There are no costs associated with walking to the castle.
