Alternatively, take the Escalier Sainte-Anne (St. Anne's Stairs) located behind the palace, or the steps near the Cathedral Notre Dame des Doms. All routes lead to the entrance of Jardin des Doms at 2 Mnt des Moulins. This approach is free.
Public Transport
From Avignon Centre train station, walk towards Rue de la République and continue for about 15-20 minutes until you reach Place de l'Horloge. From there, turn onto Rue Joseph Vernet, which leads directly to Jardin des Doms. Alternatively, take bus line 1 or 5 from the station, which will drop you off close to the park entrance. A single bus ticket costs €1.30.
