Getting There

Car
From Les Deux Alpes, take the D213 road heading towards the town of Bourg d'Oisans. After approximately 14 km, turn right onto the D528 road towards Allemont and then follow the signs for Huez. Continue along the D528, which will take you up the mountain. After reaching the village of Huez, follow the signs for Rte des Lacs. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes depending on traffic and weather conditions. Parking is available near the lake at designated areas, but be prepared for a small fee.

Take a bus from Les Deux Alpes to Bourg d'Oisans. You can find the bus schedule at the local tourist information center. Once in Bourg d'Oisans, transfer to a local bus that goes to Huez. The bus ride from Bourg d'Oisans to Huez takes about 30 minutes. After arriving in Huez, follow the signs to Rte des Lacs, which is approximately a 30-minute walk uphill from the bus station to reach Lac Noir. Note that bus tickets may cost around €2-€5 each way.
