Train
From Lille Europe train station, take the TER train towards Arras. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at Neuville-Saint-Vaast station. Once you arrive at the station, exit and walk south on Rue de la Gare. Continue straight, and after about 1 kilometer, you will reach 48 Route Nationale where the Musée Militaire de la Targette is located.
Bus
At Lille's Central bus station (Gare Lille Flandres), take the Bus Line 1 towards Arras. Stay on the bus for about 45 minutes, and get off at the stop 'Neuville-Saint-Vaast - Mairie'. From there, walk east along Route Nationale for about 500 meters, and you will find the Musée Militaire de la Targette at 48 Route Nationale.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing services in Lille. Head out from the center of Lille towards the north, following the bike paths that lead to Neuville-Saint-Vaast. It is approximately a 10 km ride. Follow the signs towards Neuville-Saint-Vaast, and once you reach the town, the museum will be easily visible on Route Nationale.
Walking
If you are up for a longer walk, you can walk from Lille to Neuville-Saint-Vaast, which is about 10 km away. Start from the Grand Place in Lille, head east towards Rue de Paris, and continue walking straight until you reach the outskirts of Lille. Follow the signs for Neuville-Saint-Vaast. Once you arrive in the town, continue on Route Nationale, and the Musée Militaire de la Targette will be located at 48 Route Nationale.
