Getting There

    Starting from Lille Flandres train station, exit the station and head southeast on Rue de l'Hôpital Militaire. Continue straight until you reach Boulevard de la Liberté. Turn left onto Boulevard de la Liberté and walk for about 10 minutes. As you approach the Place de la République, you will see the Palais des Beaux-Arts on your left. Continue straight onto Rue de l'Hôpital Militaire, which will lead you to the river. Once you reach the riverbank, turn right and walk alongside the river until you see Pont Napoléon.

    From Lille Europe train station, take Metro Line 1 towards 'Château Rouge'. Get off at 'Gare Lille Flandres' station. Transfer to Metro Line 2 towards 'St. Philibert' and get off at 'Rihour' station. From Rihour, exit the station and walk towards Place de la République.
