Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Wazemmes, head southwest on Rue des Postes toward Rue de la Procession. Continue straight onto Rue de la Procession, which will take you into the larger Rue de la Monnaie. Walk along Rue de la Monnaie until you reach the junction with Rue de l'Hôpital Militaire. Turn left onto Rue de l'Hôpital Militaire, walking until you reach the entrance of Parc de la Citadelle on Voie Piétonne du Bois de la Deûle. The entire walk should take about 20-25 minutes.

  • Public Transport (Metro)

    From Wazemmes, head to the nearest Metro station, which is Wazemmes (Line 1). Take the Metro towards '4 Cantons' and get off at the next stop, 'République Beaux-Arts'. From there, exit and walk towards the Parc de la Citadelle. This will take around 10-15 minutes on foot. The Metro ticket costs approximately €1.60.
