From Wazemmes Market Square (Place de Wazemmes), head southeast on Rue de Wazemmes towards Rue de la Monnaie. Continue straight until you reach Rue des Postes. Turn right onto Rue des Postes and walk until you reach the intersection with Rue de l'Hôpital Militaire. Turn left onto Rue de l'Hôpital Militaire. Continue straight until you reach the large green area of Parc de la Citadelle. The Zoo de Lille is located within this park. Follow the signs to the zoo entrance, which is approximately a 20-minute walk from the market square.

From the Wazemmes Market Square (Place de Wazemmes), walk to the nearest bus stop 'Wazemmes' on Rue de Wazemmes. Take Bus Line 14 towards 'Mairie de Lille'. Get off at the stop 'Zoo de Lille', which is just outside the zoo entrance. The bus ride takes approximately 10 minutes, and the ticket costs around €1.60. Make sure to purchase your ticket at a ticket machine or from a nearby kiosk before boarding.
