Venture into the depths of the Villars Cave, the only cave in the Périgord region that houses both original prehistoric paintings and breathtaking natural concretions. This remarkable site, also known as Grotte du Cluzeau, invites you to explore a world shaped by water and time, adorned with the artistic expressions of Cro-Magnon hunter-gatherers.Discovered in 1953 by the Périgueux Spéléo Club, the cave extends over 13 kilometers, revealing immense chambers and galleries carved by an underground river. The renowned "little blue horse" and the scene of the "bison and the sorcerer" are among the most captivating.
