Car
If you are traveling by car, head towards Souvigny-de-Touraine, which is located approximately 30 kilometers southeast of Tours. From the A10 motorway, take the exit towards D37 in the direction of Souvigny-de-Touraine. Follow the D37 for about 15 kilometers until you reach the village. Once in Souvigny-de-Touraine, look for signs leading to Étangs jumeaux, which is located just outside the village. Parking is available nearby.

To reach Étangs jumeaux using public transportation, start by taking a train from Tours to the nearest station, which is Amboise. You can catch a train from Tours Gare, and the journey takes approximately 20 minutes. From Amboise, you will need to take a local bus (Bus number 6) towards Souvigny-de-Touraine. The bus ride will take around 30 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may be limited. Once you arrive in Souvigny-de-Touraine, it’s a short walk to the Étangs jumeaux.
