Car
If you are traveling by car within Lorraine, you can use the A31 motorway. From Nancy, take exit 24 towards Laneuveville-devant-Nancy. Follow the D33 road and then turn onto Rue de l'Ermitage. The Château de Montaigu will be on your left. There is usually free parking available near the castle.
Public Transportation
To reach Château de Montaigu via public transport, first take a train from your current location in Lorraine to Nancy. From Nancy's train station, take bus line 12 (direction Chaligny) and get off at the 'Ermitage' stop. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk down Rue de l'Ermitage to reach the château. Be sure to check the latest bus schedules as they can vary, and purchasing a ticket for the bus will cost around €1.50.
Walking
If you are staying nearby in Laneuveville-devant-Nancy, you can easily walk to the Château de Montaigu. Simply head towards Rue de l'Ermitage, and the castle is located at number 54140. The walk should take you approximately 20 minutes from the center of town.
