Walking
From the center of Lourdes, head towards the main train station (Gare de Lourdes). Walk straight down Avenue de la Gare for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Avenue du Paradis. Turn left onto Avenue du Paradis and continue walking for another 15 minutes until you reach the intersection with Rue de la Grotte. Keep walking straight; this will lead you towards the exit of the city. Follow the signs for the hiking trails towards Monte Perdido, which is approximately a 1.5 to 2-hour hike from this point.
