From the Sanctuaries of Lourdes, exit the main entrance and head towards Avenue de la Gare. Walk straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Rue de la Grotte. Turn left onto Rue de la Grotte and continue for approximately 300 meters. The entrance to the Grotto area will be on your right. Follow the signs to the Massabielle Grotto, located within the Sanctuary grounds. This walk is free.

If near the Lourdes train station, take the local bus service to the Grotto area. Look for the bus stop marked 'Navette du Sanctuaire'. Board the bus that goes to the Sanctuaries of Lourdes. The journey takes about 10 minutes. Get off at the Sanctuaries stop and follow the signs to the Massabielle Grotto. Bus fare is approximately €2.
