Walking
If you are in the center of Lourdes, head south towards the Rue de la Grotte. Walk past the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rue de la Reine Astrid. Turn left onto Rue de la Reine Astrid and walk until you see the Pont Vieux on your right. It will be clearly visible as you approach the river.
Public Transport
From Lourdes train station, exit the station and head towards the bus stop located right outside. Take the local bus number 1 heading to the Sanctuary. Get off at the 'Grotte' stop. From there, walk towards the Rue de la Grotte, continue straight, and then turn left onto Rue de la Reine Astrid. The Pont Vieux will be on your right after a short walk.
Bicycle
If you have rented a bicycle, start from the central square (Place Peyramale). Ride towards Rue de la Grotte, then continue straight until you reach the river. Cross over the bridge at Rue de la Reine Astrid, and the Pont Vieux will be on your left side. It’s a scenic route along the river.
