Metro
If you're starting from Lyon Part-Dieu train station, take Line B of the Metro towards Jean Macé. Change at the next stop, which is Saxe - Gambetta, and switch to Line D towards Gare de Vaise. Get off at the next stop, which is Bellecour. From Bellecour, you can either walk or take a tram to reach Rue Mercière. If you choose to walk, head towards Rue de la République and continue straight until you reach Place des Jacobins. Then, turn left onto Rue Mercière, where you will find a variety of restaurants and cafes.
Tram
From Lyon Part-Dieu, you can also take Tram T1 towards Debourg. Get off at the stop called 'Bellecour'. From there, walk straight towards Rue de la République, and then continue until you reach Place des Jacobins. Turn left onto Rue Mercière, which is just a short walk away.
Walking
If you are already in the city center, simply head towards Rue de la République. Once you reach the bustling street, walk straight ahead until you see the junction with Rue Mercière. Bus
To reach Rue Mercière by bus, find a nearby bus stop and take bus number C3 or C9. Get off at the stop called 'Bellecour'. After disembarking, walk towards Rue de la République and follow the directions to Rue Mercière as previously described.
