Walking
From the central part of Presqu'île, head towards the Rhône River. If you are near Place Bellecour, walk north towards the riverbank. Once you reach the river, continue walking along the waterfront promenade (Quai de la Loire) heading north. You will pass by the beautiful views of the river and possibly some cafes where you can grab a quick drink. Keep walking until you reach the Pont de la Guillotière bridge. Cross the bridge, and once you are on the other side, you will see the Monument aux Morts de l'île du Souvenir on your right, situated in the park area.

Public Transportation (Metro)
If you prefer to use public transport, start by heading to the closest metro station to you, which is likely to be 'Bellecour' or 'Cordeliers.' From 'Bellecour', take Metro Line A (red line) towards 'Vaulx-en-Velin la Soie.' Get off at 'Cordeliers' station. Transfer to Line D (dark blue line) towards 'Gare de Vaise' and get off at 'Gare Part-Dieu.' From there, you can either walk along the riverbank or catch a tram towards the Monument aux Morts de l'île du Souvenir. Note that a single metro ticket costs around €1.90.

You can take Tram T1 from the 'Hotel de Ville' stop (which is close to Presqu'île) towards 'Debourg.' Get off at the 'Brotteaux' stop. From there, walk towards the river and head north along the Quai de la Loire. The Monument aux Morts de l'île du Souvenir will be visible as you approach the park area. The tram ticket also costs around €1.90.
