    During July and August, public transport is available from Pau to Bious-Artigues. Take bus 524 from Pau to Laruns, then transfer to bus 525, which runs twice daily from Laruns to Col de Pourtalet via Bious-Oumettes (the road at Bious Artigues). Check the bus timetables in advance as the schedule is limited. From the Bious-Oumettes stop, it's a short walk to the trailhead at Bious-Artigues.
