Getting There

  • Car

    From the main entrance of Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park, head towards the A-135 road. Follow the A-135 for approximately 9 km until you reach the town of Torla. Here, you will need to park your car at the designated parking area as vehicles are restricted within the park during peak season (cost approximately €6 per day). After parking, take the shuttle bus (payable on board, about €3 one way) to the Pradera de Ordesa, which is the main starting point for trails in the park.

  • Hiking

    From the Pradera de Ordesa, follow the well-marked trail towards the Cola de Caballo waterfall. The path is approximately 6 km (about 2 hours of hiking). After reaching the waterfall, continue on the trail for another 2 km (approximately 30 minutes) towards the Cueva del Furicon. Look for signs pointing to the cave, which will lead you slightly off the main trail. Be prepared for a moderate hike with some elevation gain.
