From the center of Montpellier, head to the 'Gare Saint-Roch' train station. You can take tram line 1 (the blue line) from 'Antigone' or 'Comédie' stop to 'Gare Saint-Roch'. Once at the station, purchase a train ticket to 'Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer'. The train ride takes approximately 50 minutes. Upon arrival at 'Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer' station, exit the station and head towards the bus stop located nearby. Look for the 'Ligne 1 - Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer' bus, which will take you towards the beach. Get off at the stop 'Plage du Grand Radeau'. From the bus stop, it is a short walk to the beach. Follow the signs directing you to the beach access.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Montpellier. Head towards the 'Lez' river and follow the cycle path along the river heading south. Continue on the bike path towards the coastal area, which will lead you to 'Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer'. The ride is approximately 30 km and takes around 2 hours. Once you reach 'Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer', follow the local signs to 'Plage du Grand Radeau'.

Walking from the center of Montpellier to 'Plage du Grand Radeau' is not feasible due to the distance (approximately 35 km). However, if you are keen on walking, you can take a tram or train to 'Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer' first and then walk the short distance from there. From 'Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer', follow the signs to the beach, which is about a 15-minute walk from the train station.
