Walking
If you are in the center of Nancy, head towards the Nancy Gare (train station). From Place Stanislas, walk northeast on Rue de la République until you reach the station. Once there, take a train to Metz, which typically takes about 30 minutes. After arriving at Metz station, exit the station and head southwest on Rue Pierre D'Arsonval. Continue straight until you reach Place de la Gare. From there, walk along Rue de la Citadelle, and the Palais du Gouverneur Militaire will be on your right at 9 Rue de la Citadelle.
Public Transport - Tram and Train
Begin your journey at a tram stop near your location in Nancy, such as the Gare de Nancy. Take Tram Line 1 towards 'Vandoeuvre - Les Pompidou' and get off at the 'Nancy Gare' stop. From Nancy Gare, purchase a train ticket to Metz. The train ride to Metz will take approximately 30 minutes. After arriving at Metz, exit the train station and proceed southwest on Rue Pierre D'Arsonval. Continue to Place de la Gare and then head along Rue de la Citadelle until you reach the Palais du Gouverneur Militaire located at 9 Rue de la Citadelle.
