Walking
If you are starting from the Nancy train station (Gare de Nancy-Ville), exit the station and head southwest on Rue du 20ème Corps. Walk straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Boulevard de la Mothe. Turn right onto Boulevard de la Mothe and continue walking for about 300 meters. You will see Place Thiers on your left. It is a spacious square with several benches and trees, perfect for resting.

From Place Stanislas, take tram line 1 towards 'Hôpital Central'. Get off at 'Gare' (the second stop). Once you exit the tram, walk straight down Rue de la Gare for about 200 meters. When you reach the roundabout, take the first exit onto Rue de la Liberté. Continue straight until you see Place Thiers on your right.

From the city center, specifically Place Stanislas, walk down Rue de la Primatiale towards Place de la Carrière. Continue straight until you reach the large intersection. Cross over to Boulevard de la Mothe and continue walking for approximately 600 meters. Place Thiers will be on your left, marked by a large open area with seating.

If you are near the Palais des Congrès, walk to the tram station 'Palais des Congrès' and take tram line 2 towards 'Saint-Georges'. Get off at 'Gare' (the third stop). From there, walk along Rue de la Gare for about 300 meters, then turn left onto Rue de la Liberté, and you will find Place Thiers on your right.
