Getting There

  • Walking

    From Quartier de la Création, head south on Rue de la Création towards Rue de l'Hermitage. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rue de la Loire. Turn left onto Rue de la Loire and follow it until you reach the Place de la République. From there, take the first right onto Rue de Richebourg. Continue on Rue de Richebourg, which will eventually lead you to the Château des ducs de Bretagne, located at 4 Pl. Marc Elder. The walk will take approximately 15-20 minutes.

  • Tram

    If you prefer to take public transportation, you can catch the Line 1 tram from the nearest tram stop in Quartier de la Création. Board the tram in the direction of François Mitterrand. Get off at the stop 'Duchesse Anne - Château' which is the closest stop to Château des ducs de Bretagne. The tram ride will take about 10 minutes, and tickets cost around €1.60. From the tram stop, you will see the castle entrance just a short walk away, approximately 5 minutes on foot.
