Begin your journey at the Jean Médecin tram stop, which is on the main avenue in Nice. Take tram line 1 towards 'Hôpital Pasteur' and get off at the 'Gare Thiers' stop. From there, transfer to bus number 14 towards 'Fort du Mont Alban'. Alight at the 'Fort du Mont Alban' stop and walk up Chemin du Fort du Mont Alban to reach the fort.

If you enjoy walking, you can start from the Promenade des Anglais. Head east towards the Old Town (Vieux Nice) and navigate to the Rue de France to reach the Avenue de la République.
