From Nice, head to the Nice Ville train station. Once there, purchase a ticket to the town of Tanneron. Take the bus number 600 from the station, which will take you towards Grasse. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the stop 'Saint-Cassien' or 'Le Tignet.' From there, follow the signs leading to Lac de Saint-Cassien, which is about a 15-minute walk.

Make your way to the Nice Ville train station and take a train to Grasse. The journey will take about 40 minutes. Once in Grasse, you can catch bus number 600 towards Cannes. Get off at the 'Saint-Cassien' or 'Le Tignet' stop. From there, it's a short walk to Lac de Saint-Cassien, just follow the signs.

Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous, rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Nice. Head out along the scenic coastal road towards Antibes and then follow the signs for the 'Route de Grasse.' This will take you through beautiful countryside. The ride is about 25 kilometers and will take roughly 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your speed. Once you reach the area of Tanneron, follow the signs to Lac de Saint-Cassien.

If you’re up for a longer trek, start from the Promenade des Anglais and walk towards the hills of Nice. This is about a 30-kilometer hike, so be prepared for a full day’s journey. You can follow the old railway paths that are now walking trails towards the countryside. Make sure to carry enough water and snacks for your journey. Upon reaching Tanneron, you can ask locals for directions to Lac de Saint-Cassien.
