Train
From Nice Ville train station, take a train towards Cannes. The train ride takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Cannes train station, exit the station and head towards Avenue de Grasse. Turn left onto Rue Jean Jaurès and continue straight until you reach Rue de la Castre. The Musée des explorations du monde will be on your left at 6 Rue de la Castre.
Bus
Catch the Lignes d'Azur bus number 200 from Nice's bus station (Gare Routière) towards Cannes. The journey takes approximately 1 hour. Disembark at the 'Cannes - Gare SNCF' stop. From there, walk towards Avenue de Grasse, turn left onto Rue Jean Jaurès, and continue until you reach Rue de la Castre. The museum is located at 6 Rue de la Castre on your left.
Walking
If you are already in the Cannes area, you can walk to the museum. Start from the Boulevard de la Croisette and head inland towards Rue de la Castre. Continue walking straight until you reach the museum at 6 Rue de la Castre. It’s about a 10-15 minute walk from the beach area.
